WHO publications on infant and young child feeding
Includes updated materials (January 2006) for Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative implementation (training of health workers and policy-makers, with additional sections for settings with high HIV prevalence); the International Code of Marketing of Breast Milk Substitutes; and publications on breastfeeding and complementary feeding.

USAID funded the 10-year LINKAGES Project (1996-2006) to provide technical information, assistance, and training to organizations on breastfeeding, related complementary feeding and maternal dietary practices, and the lactational amenorrhea method. Website includes assessment, training, counselling and monitoring and evaluation tools for infant and young child feeding.

Breast Crawl
Provides a video as well as resources for promotion of “Breast Crawl” as a method of immediately initiating breastfeeding after delivery.
